Estrella

Hace unas semanas recibí el libro de nominados para los Premios Aster 2012, que otorga ESIC. Era una publicación exquisita, cuidadísima y llena de detalles del más brillante estilo y diseño gráfico, en un papel muy noble que no podía desperdiciar.

Asíque he creado una serie de marcapackagings, del que Estrella es el primero que veréis. Espero que os guste, ha quedado genial, la verdad, tal y como quería. Y además, me gusta mucho más cuando lo veo dentro de la última novela de Boris Izaguirre, uno de mis escritores favoritos.

Si todavía no has leído nada de Boris, no sé a qué esperas. Estás perdiéndote una sensibilidad especial, diferente, única, historias pasionales y salvajes en todo el mundo, personajes inocentes y malvados al mismo tiempo con los que simplemente te enganchas, de la manera en la que te enamoras siempre de quien no debes.

Dos Monstruos Juntos me ha gustado, aunque puede que sea su novela más superficial, desde mi punto de vista. Aunque también el mundo que describe es tan superficial que sería raro que la historia no se contaminara. Tuve mucha suerte, porque me compré esta novela cuando Boris estaba en la Feria del Libro de Madrid firmando, asíque la tengo dedicada, creo que es la primera novela que un escritor me dedica en mi vida 🙂

Some weeks ago I received the nominee book for Aster Awards 2012, an excellence in management, strategy and corporative awards that ESIC gives to some of the Spanish companies that are doing things well. It was an incredible edition, very well designed, with brilliant resources applied, and made in an extra high quality paper, that I couldn´t waste…

So I´ve been doing a group of marcapackagings, and Estrella is the first one. I hope you like it, it´s perfect, just like I have imagined. And It´s more special to me when I see it inside the last novel by Boris Izaguirre, one of my favourites writers. I don´t know if his books are translated into English, if so, you should start reading him to discover his different sensibility, his loved and hated angel-devil characters…

I think this is the first book I have with the signature of the writer 🙂 I was lucky to go to the Feria del Libro the same day he was there!!!

Munich

Cuando preparo nuevos viajes, siempre acabo recordando los anteriores, y eso implica acabar recopilando toda la información, tarjetas, fliers y papelitos que me traje del último viaje y ponerme a hacer marcapackagings.

Tengo dos marcapackagings hermanos que he creado con el mapa de Munich. El primero me salió mal al doblarse y crear un pliegue muy feo en la parte de atrás el plastificador, asíque el que quiera el marcapackaging Munich, recibirá un 2×1 🙂

Preparing a new travel, always with the greetings in my mind from the last ones…So I took all the cards, fliers, and maps that I bring home from Munich last march and I started to create marcapackagings…

Ciencia

Esta semana hemos recibido la genial visita de un amigo que trabaja en el mundo de la investigación en casa que me ha inspirado para realizar este nuevo marcapackaging.

Se llama Ciencia, y está hecho con un packaging de una mascarilla de Korres y es bastante pequeñito, pero sirve, como véis en la imagen, para marcar un punto de lectura en obras de todo tipo y tamaño, porque es muy duro. De hecho, está hecho con una capa de cartón completa y reforzado con otra media.

El libro dónde lo véis en acción es «1001 películas que hay que ver antes de morir» es genial, tanto te guste el cine como si no, porque al final, es un compendio de ideas y películas para investigar, ver y descubrir. Muy útil para fines de semana de frío, de esos en los que mejor evitar poner un pie fuera de casa. Abres el libro al azar dos o tres veces y te encargas de conseguir las pelis, una mantita y muuuuchas palomitas.

After the visit of a young friend working on science investigation, I finally got the inspiration to make a new marcapackaging from a Korres packaging. It´s name is Ciencia, and despite the fact that it is really tiny, you could use it inside of books of any size, because it has a double layer of cardboard.

The book is «1001 movies you must see before you die» it´s a quite good fount of inspiration for winter days like the ones that we´re suffering in Europe this days. You just open the book a couple or more times and get the inspiration of some titles of films to enjoy with a warm blanket and tons of popcorn during the winter 🙂
